Atlanta Open T20 2026: 39 Youth Players to Watch

Atlanta Open T20 2026: 39 Youth Players to Watch

The Atlanta Open T20 2026 runs from October 13 to 18 at the Param Veers Sports Complex in Rydal, Georgia. It’s one of the biggest club T20 tournaments in the US: 12 teams, a $100,000 prize for the men’s champion, and squads full of international and USA players, including Shakib Al Hasan, Unmukt Chand, KS Bharat, Kesrick Williams and USA captain Monank Patel.

It’s also full of young players. We checked every official squad against the US Junior League (USJL) 2026 roster and our youth player lists, and found at least 39 youth players across 11 of the 12 teams. Twenty-one of them played USJL in Houston only days ago, including five of the Northwest Renegades players who won the title on October 12.

How we counted. A player is listed here only if they appear on the USJL 2026 roster or on our verified youth player lists. Squads come from the official Atlanta Open T20 roster announcements. If we’ve missed a young player, email youthcricketusa@gmail.com and we’ll check and add them.

Five storylines to follow

  • The USJL champions are back. Adnit Jhamb (USJL’s top run scorer with 351), Ansh Bhoje, Rayaan Taj and Shriyans Kolipaka all play for St. Louis Americans, the most youth-heavy squad in the tournament. Fellow champion Matthew Tromp plays for Prime Raider Gladiators.
  • Mittansh Nithiyanandam goes straight from Houston to Atlanta. The only player to score a century at USJL 2026 (he made two) joins All Stars Cardinals, alongside West Indies Test opener Kieran Powell.
  • Prannav Chettipalayam’s busy month. A USJL finalist with Denver Dynamites, he now plays for Atlanta Lightning with Monank Patel, Harmeet Singh and Milind Kumar, before the Minor League Cricket playoffs with Baltimore Royals from October 21. On October 15, Lightning face St. Louis Americans and four of the players who beat him in the USJL final.
  • Abhinav Sikharam faces his own club. Minor League Cricket 2026’s top run scorer plays for Prime Raider Gladiators, who meet Michigan Cricket Stars, his MiLC team, on October 15.
  • Youth and pros side by side. Saiteja Mukkamalla and Parth Patel share the Atlanta Fire dressing room with Shakib Al Hasan and Unmukt Chand. Rahul Jariwala plays with KS Bharat and Kesrick Williams at Seattle Thunderbolts.
