Minor League Cricket returns September 17 with a compact 2026 season designed to bring high-level domestic cricket directly to communities across the United States.
The regular season will feature 62 matches at eight venues from September 17 through September 27. After a scheduled break, the playoffs and championship final will be held October 21–25 at Prairie View Cricket Complex near Houston, Texas.
Featured venues include Church Street Park in Morrisville, North Carolina; Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas; and the new Knight Riders Cricket Ground in Pomona, California. The schedule gives supporters in several regions an opportunity to watch competitive cricket close to home.
Regular-season matches are expected to remain free to attend. That makes MiLC especially valuable to youth players and families who may not otherwise have regular access to high-level cricket.
Young cricketers can observe how players build an innings, manage pressure, set fields and adapt during T20 competition. Coaches and parents can turn a match visit into a practical learning experience by asking children to follow one player, track field changes or discuss decisions after the game.
MiLC also occupies an important place in the American player pathway. It provides meaningful domestic competition and helps connect local cricket communities with the broader national game.
The 2026 divisional drafts were held August 28. Rosters will contain between 14 and 18 players, and All Stars Dallas will enter the season under its new identity after previously competing as Kings XI Dallas.
